Adult Residential Services (ARS)
Adult Residential Services (ARS) department provides residential services to Adult clients. Edgewater provides Supervised Group Living (SGL) at three of its facilities: Transitions Group Home (15 beds), C-Path (9 beds) and Horizon House (6 beds). Edgewater has a total of 30 beds in its SGL facilities.
Edgewater also has a Transitional Residential Service Program (TRS) that has 15 beds. Edgewater also has 30 beds capacity at its Semi-Independent Living Program (SILP), the Phoenix apartments. Clients who do not need meet the criteria for admission at the SGL or TRS facilities and meets the criteria for homelessness are admitted into the Phoenix Apartments.
In addition to Edgewater’s SGL, TRS and SILP facilities, in January 2014, Edgewater opened South Shore Commons, a new 60-unit, service-enriched housing complex targeted to the Homeless Persons with Disabilities and Homeless Families, Extremely Low Income Individuals and Families At-Risk of Homelessness, Low Income Individuals and Small Families some of whom have specific needs. In addition to the housing units, the facility includes common spaces that will be used for on-site service programs for residents; including mental health care, service coordination and case management.
